LONDON British police explained they had arrested four adult males on Wednesday on suspicion of making ready terrorism functions in the United Kingdom.
London police explained officers from its Counter Terrorism Command had detained the four adult males, aged 18, 24, twenty five and 27, at their homes in the east of the British capital.
“These arrests were being pre-planned as component of an ongoing investigation by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command and (the domestic spy agency) MI5,” police explained in a statement. “The arrests are connected to action in the United kingdom.”
The adult males were being remaining questioned at a south London police station “on suspicion of remaining concerned in the fee, preparing or instigation of functions of terrorism”, the statement included.
