Hungarian President Janos Ader signed off on the legislation on Monday despite protests versus it in Budapest and condemnation overseas. Yet another mass rally versus the legislation is planned for later on on Wednesday.
“We are urging the govt of Hungary to suspend implementation of the legislation,” Condition Office spokesman Mark C. Toner mentioned late on Tuesday according to a transcript of a Washington press briefing posted on line.
