JOHANNESBURG South Africa’s Hawks elite police device claimed on Monday it is not investigating Deputy Minister Mcebisi Jonas, but only earning enquiries at this stage in excess of allegations that he was aspect of a probe into allegations of corruption at condition-owned South African Airways (SAA).
Metropolis Push newspaper reported on Sunday the Hawks is investigating allegations that Jonas used his political affect to safe U.S. plane company AAR Corp contracts to source elements and tires to the condition airline.
“For now that investigation is continue to at an enquiry amount and when we choose up anything at all then a case docket will then be opened. There is not even a case docket,” Hawks spokesman Hangwani Mulaudzi instructed Reuters.
