JERUSALEM A Jordanian citizen stabbed and wounded an Israeli police officer who then shot him lifeless in Jerusalem’s Previous City on Saturday, Israeli police stated.
Police spokeswoman Luba Simri stated the officer was strolling down a street when he was attacked.
“The terrorist rushed toward him, whipped out a knife that he had in his possession, stormed him and commenced stabbing him. The police officer responded with perseverance and in a skilled method, managed to activate his weapon and neutralized him,” Simri stated.
The attacker, she stated, was a 57-calendar year-old Jordanian who had arrived in Israel for a stop by a several times ago.
