TABQA DAM, Syria Islamic Condition shelled positions held by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) at the Tabqa Dam on the Euphrates River on Wednesday, forcing the evacuation of engineers who ended up on web page to open up spillways, a Reuters witness claimed.
No one was wounded by at minimum two explosions as Islamic Condition fired from the southern close of the dam, which it controls. The engineers are doing the job to open up the spillways to reduce the stress of crafted-up water in the dam.
The SDF, an alliance of militias including the Kurdish YPG and Arab fighters, captured the northern portion of the dam final 7 days.
