NEW DELHI India’s top courtroom on Tuesday held liquor baron Vijay Mallya responsible of contempt of courtroom in a situation moved by banking institutions to get well funds owed by him, tv channels claimed.
The Supreme Court docket directed Mallya to appear on July ten, CNBC TV18 claimed.
Mallya moved to Britain past March soon after banking institutions sued to get well about $1.four billion the Indian authorities say is owed by Kingfisher, now a defunct airline.
Mallya has denied the prices in opposition to him.
