KIEV A former Russian lawmaker and vital witness in a treason case in opposition to Ukraine’s ousted leader Viktor Yanukovich was shot dead in wide daylight outside the house a lodge in central Kiev on Thursday, police said.
Former MP Denis Voronenkov was killed by an assailant who is now in medical center right after remaining wounded by Voronenkov’s bodyguard in the course of the incident, police said.
