NAIROBI Large gunfire was heard and there were being stories of ethnic militias aligned with the South Sudanese government going household-to-household exploring for customers of the opposition, forcing inhabitants of Wau city indoors on Monday, witnesses explained.
“Armed militias are transferring from household to household,” a person resident explained. Another explained he experienced fled an assault in which lots of people today, such as his cousin, were being killed.
The two described customers of the president’s Dinka tribe exploring for customers of the regional Lou and Fertit tribes.
